Feltmaking Workshops in Abbotsbury
(This is at 13 Market Street right in the centre of the village. Some parking outside on the street or you could park in the Ilchester Arms Car Park just opposite)

Cost for these workshops
Special Early booking price - £44 including wool (but excluding silk chiffon, if you’re making a Nuno silk scarf) if booked before the dates specified above, unless you come for both days, in which case it will be £80 for the whole weekend.
Late booking (ie booked after the dates specified above) prices are £50 a day or £92 for the whole weekend, including wool, but excluding silk chiffon (if you’re making a Nuno scarfl).
Some concessions available (eg for students, or if you have already done one of my workshops) - please contact me.
All of these workshops are going to be held in my studio, therefore numbers are very limited, so please book as soon as possible!

The Saturday will be basic feltmaking. The Sunday will be a little more advanced. You can do just Saturday, just Sunday, or both days.
You can either work on a project of your own with my help; or I will be teaching one of the following techniques: making a seamless bag with integral handle, a simple hat; slippers (more difficult), or nuno felt (felting onto muslin or silk chiffon- makes gorgeous scarves), depending on what gets the most votes!
Please also state your preference of what you would like to learn on the Sunday, if you are coming on that day.
If you need help with accommodation, please let me know, I have 2 friends in the village who run lovely B&B's for a very good price ....
Please bring with you:
something for lunch (or there is a very good sandwich bar next door to us); old towels; any feltmaking wool (‘sliver’) or interesting fibres; any felt you have already made; plus, if you have them, (I can provide if not): a reed beach mat/bubble wrap (about 50cm sq), piece of net curtain and rubber gloves (if you don’t like prolonged contact with water), a bar of olive oil soap (available to buy from me). It can be cold in the hall – so bear that in mind when choosing what to wear. Any questions, please give me a ring on the number below.
